Taekwondo, a traditional Korean Martial Art that has been developed through the flow of Korean history, is a system of attack and defense utilizing the arms and legs. However Taekwondo is not merely training in a technique, it is a Martial Art which, through training, attempts to bring about positive changes in the human nature.

It is estimated that Taekwondo is practiced by over 50 million people around the world.

What are the benefits of Taekwondo?
The practice of Taekwondo can improve health and fitness, balance, agility and alertness in the mind. Taekwondo also improves self confidence and discipline as a person progresses and learns skills for self defense. Such discipline, self confidence and knowledge are benificial to the life of individuals and families alike.

Kim's Martial Arts Students are provided ongoing opportunity to gain qualifications in Australia and in Korea with Kukkiwon for Taekwondo & Moo Lim Won for Hapkido

Students may chose to Belt Level qualifications, participate in competitons or facilitate leadership roles under the guidence of qualified experienced & professional mentors.

Martial Arts training provides a complete Body Mind Spirit health & fitness lifestyle however, not all clubs or instructors are the same.

BLACK BELT GRADUATES


Past students of Kims Taekwondo East Gippsland have earnt recognised qualifications under the instruction of Senior Regional Instructor Tony Paganella 3rd Dan and Graded by Master Jung Yun Kim 7th Dan. Certificates awarded are registered with Kukkiwon Korea and The World Taekwondo Federation.

Students achieving the title of Black Belt have displayed skills and character relative to their training in the art & discipline of Taekwondo. As individuals they are unique and display qualities deemed desirable as positive role models and leaders of our community.
